Claudia Hartman has lived and worked in the Hopkinton area for 17 years. She is an art teacher in a variety of media and has been working with clay, various fibers and fabrics for many years. In the early 90s she started taking her clay sculptures to another level, incorporating what she saw while hiking and gardening. Her work has a strong connection with the mystery of nature and is affected by the many patterns and forms found around her.
